Terms of service

These Terms of Service apply when you use the Champion Candles website or purchase products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Products

We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. Because products such as wax melts, candles and diffusers may be handmade or produced in batches, minor variations in appearance may occur.

Fragrance perception and strength can also vary between individuals and environments. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty or materially different from its description.

Please follow all safety, care and usage instructions supplied with our products.

Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an electronic confirmation. We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing error has occurred, payment cannot be authorised or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the appropriate amount will be refunded.

Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling. The total amount payable, including applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. If an obvious pricing error is discovered before an order is fulfilled, we may contact you and offer you the choice of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling the order.

Offers and promotions

Any promotional offer, including multibuy or mix-and-match offers, is subject to the terms displayed with the promotion and product availability.

We may change or end promotions from time to time. Any change will not retrospectively alter an order that has already been accepted.

Availability

Products showing as sold out or unavailable cannot normally be purchased until stock becomes available again.

Stock availability may change quickly and adding an item to your basket does not reserve it until checkout has been successfully completed.

Delivery

Delivery charges and available services are shown during checkout. Our Shipping Policy forms part of these terms.

You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.

Cancellations and returns

Your rights to cancel an online order, return goods and obtain refunds are described in our Refund & Returns Policy. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

Website use

You must not misuse our website, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious software, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

All website content, including Champion Candles branding, original text, graphics and other material owned by us, remains our intellectual property unless stated otherwise. It may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights that cannot legally be excluded under consumer law.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses suffered by a consumer purchasing for personal use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying to an order will be those in force when that order is placed.

Applicable law

These terms are subject to the law applicable to your purchase in the United Kingdom. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer rights available to you.
