Refund policy
At Champion Candles, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your rights when buying from us online.
Changing your mind
For most products purchased online, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. Please contact us through the Contact Us page at Champion Candles and tell us that you wish to cancel.
Once you have told us that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. We recommend obtaining proof of postage.
You may inspect a product as you reasonably would in a shop. If a product has been used or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we may reduce the refund to reflect any reduction in value.
For example, wax melts that have been melted, candles that have been burned, or diffusers that have been substantially used may have a reduced refund value. This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or not as described.
Refunds
Where a cancellation is valid, we will refund the amount due using the original payment method, normally within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been returned.
Where required by law, we will also refund the cost of our standard delivery service. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, any additional cost above our standard delivery charge does not have to be refunded.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, not as described or you receive the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible through our Contact Us page. Please include your order details and, where helpful, photographs of the problem.
We will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights, which may include a replacement, repair or refund. Where goods are faulty or incorrect, we will also cover reasonable return costs where applicable.
Exceptions
Certain products may have different cancellation rights where permitted by law, including personalised or custom-made goods, perishable goods and certain sealed products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened.
Nothing in this policy limits or removes your statutory consumer rights.
